After a successful playing career for the Eagles, Coach Weerasingha joined the Eastern Men's Tennis Staff for the Spring of 2002.

He earned multiple All-PAC Honors while playing at the top of the lineup for the Eagles. He was part of Eastern's PAC Championship team in 1999.
