Tara Seymour won two PAC Championships and 71 games in her five seasons leading Eastern Field Hockey. She was named PAC Coach of the Year in 1997, 2000, and 2001.
In 2001, Coach Seymour and the Eagles advanced to the PAC Championship game for the third time in four years. She led the 2000 Eagles to their second PAC Championship title and a trip to the program's first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. In 1997, Tara earned her first PAC "Coach of the Year" honor, and has since been named the same title two years in a row in 2000 and 2001.
She brought quality experience to the head coaching position first as a Pennsylvania All-State player for Souderton High School, then as a NCAA III All-Region Athlete for Messiah College. Tara played for the 1984 Messiah team that competed for the NCAA III National Championship. at the time she coached, she was still third on Messiah's all-time scoring list.
Coach Seymour earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Messiah, and she has her Pennsylvania State Teacher's Certification. She has taught three years in Physical Education and has three years of experience in Corporate Fitness.
