GRANTHAM, Pa.— Eastern University Women's Lacrosse (4-9, 0-5) spent most of the day on the defensive end in a loss to the MAC Commonwealth-leading Messiah University Falcons.
Tori Benjamin stopped 16 shots, but it was not enough as the host Falcons outscored the Eagles 22-0.
Gracie Horotn finished with four draw controls and a team-high 13 shots. Eastern put all five of their shots on frame, but they were unable to score on Messiah' Grace Hejeebu.
The Eagles are at Albright on Wednesday and will finish the year at home against Hood next Saturday.
