READING, Pa. - Eastern Men's Tennis, despite a valiant effort, dropped a 7-0 decision to the league-leading Albright Lions on Saturday.
Jeffrey Day and
Jared Groff won three games at No. 2 doubles, but the duo fell 6-3. The Eagles only won two other games at No. 1 and 3 doubles.
At No. 6 singles,
Zachary Sprung won eight games against Albright's Gavin Buckley, but fell 6-4, 6-4.
Tiger Winston also won four games at No. 5 singles.
With York falling to 0-4 in conference play, the Eagles have clinched a spot in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth Tournament. The Eagles are back home on Tuesday to take on Stevenson at 3:30 pm.
