ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Eastern Men's Tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to the Muhlenberg Mules on Wednesday in its final non-conference test of the season.
In doubles play,
Toby Sallee and
Zachary Sprung took a pair of games at No. 3 doubles, but fell to Casey Knipe and Sam Stein, 6-2. Eastern failed to score any points at No. 1 or 2 doubles.
At singles play, senior
Jeffrey Day played a strong match at No. 2 singles, winning eight games. However, William Rose came away with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph.
Stephen Dottoli,
Peter Folga, and
Jared Groff won eight games at No. 1, 2, and 4 singles, respectively.
Eastern will return to conference play this weekend on the road at Albright.
