GLENSIDE, Pa. — Eastern University Men's Tennis dropped the doubles point early and could not earn a singles win a 7-0 non-league loss at Arcadia.
All three doubles groups dropped close decisions to put the Eagles behind early.
Jared Groff had his match go to the limit and fell 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 with a 10-8 tiebreaker loss at the fourth spot.
Tiger Winston pushed his opponent to the brink in the second set, but he fell 6-1, 7-5.
The Eagles will play at Muhlenberg on Thursday.
