CENTER VALLEY, Pa.— The doubles point proved to be the difference as Eastern Univeristy Men's Tennis dropped a close decision at DeSales. Toby Sallee was a double-winner for the Eagles in the loss. 

Sallee and Zach Sprung claimed a 7-4 win the tie-break at the third doubles spot, but the Bulldogs had already locked up the point with wins at the first two flights. Jared Groff and Tiger Winston earned decisive wins at third and fourth singles, and Sallee needed a super-tiebreaker to win his match 6-3, 2-6, 10-6. 

With the match tied at 3-3, Sprung dropped his match at the six spot 7-6, 6-1.

The Eagles (3-2) open league play at York on Saturday.
