DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Early yellow cards came back to haunt Eastern University Women's Lacrosse as the host Delaware Valley Aggies  outscored the Eagles 8-to-0 in the second half on the way to a 13-3 non-league win. Natalia Willoughby scored twice and Paige Robinson scored once as the Eagles played 18 minutes of the match down a player.

After the Aggies scored the first three goals, Willoughby scored from Wallace with less than two minutes left in the quarter and Robinson put one home with only nine seconds left in the period.

Willoughby scored late in the half to cut a Delaware Valley lead to 5-3, but both Morgan Wallace and Addison Whitaker had each picked up second yellow cards and were not eligible to play in the second half. When Willoughby picked up her second yellow late in the third, the Eagles were forced to play without critical players on offense, defense, and the draw for the entire fourth quarter.

Delaware Valley scored six times in the fourth quarter.

Eastern will host Neumann on Wednesday.
