CAMDEN, N.J. - Eastern Women's Tennis played its first dual match of the season at Rutgers-Camden on Friday, dropping a 7-0 decision to the Scarlet Raptors.
Anisah Smith and
Mary Brusstar each won three games at No. 1 and 2 singles, but lost 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-0, respectively.
Sarah Mower also won three games at No. 3 singles, but fell to Grace Albert 6-3, 6-0.
"The ladies competed hard against a tough Rutgers-Camden team," Eastern Head Coach
Harrison Bitzberger said. "We scored a lot of really good points and fought we everything we had."
Eastern will be back in action next Saturday, Oct. 4, at Penn State Abington.
