FLEETWOOD, Pa. - Eastern Men's Golf kicked off its final event of the season on Saturday, competing on day one of the MAC Commonwealth Championships at Golden Oaks Golf Club. The Eagles finished the first day with a score of 329.
Senior
Nick DiPietro led the Eagles on day one, carding a 76 on the 72 par course. DiPietro finished his round with a pair of birdies on holes 6 and 9 to go along with 11 pars.
Fellow senior
Jacob Wagner was second the Eagles with a 81. He finished his round with one birdie on hole 3 and nine pars.
Dominic Villamor was third on the Eagles with an 83, recording 10 pars.
On Sunday, the Eagles played their final round of the season, shooting a 344 as a team to finish with a score of 673 after two days of competition.
DiPietro was Eastern's highest finisher, finishing in 15th with a total score of 154. He fired a 78 on the second day. He finished his round with 11 pars and a birdie on hole 8.
Villamor and Wagner finished 25th and 26th, respectively. Villamor finished with an 83, while Wagner carded an 86 on the final day of competition. Villamore birdied on the final hole, while Wagner finished with a birdie on hole 16.
