FREDERICK, Md.— Eastern University Women's Lacrosse finished up the 2025 campaign with a 17-4 loss at Hood College.
Natalia Willoughby scored twice, added an assist and posted a team-best four draw controls in the loss.
Morgan Wallace, a regular on the draw control unit and two-way player, was out with injury, and the Eagles' draw control unit felt that loss early. Hood won five of the first seven draws in the game and converted that possession into a 6-0 lead at the end of a quarter.
Though the host Blazers held their lead, the game started to level out a bit in the second quarter. The Eagles had more possession and answered two Hood goals with a pair of goals in response.
Ava Weiman scored an extra-player tally with seven minutes left and Willoughby scored from
Gracie Horton a few seconds later. Hood led 9-2 at halftime.
Hood (7-10, 3-4) scored the first five goals of the second half to grab full control of the contest before Willoughby scored from Horton again. Willoughby, a first-year midfielder finishes her first collegiate season with 31 goals, five assists, and 64 draw controls. With her four draw controls today, she moves ahead of the 61 that Courtney Reinhold posted in 2012 for the tenth spot on Eastern's single-season list in that category.
Before storms ended the match with two minutes to play, Willoughby set up Weiman for the final goal of the contest.
Natasha Challou finished with 11 saves.
