GRANTHAM, Pa. - Returning to conference action on Tuesday, Eastern Men's Tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to the Messiah University Falcons. It is the seventh straight year that the Eagles (4-10, 2-2) have failed to score a point against the Falcons.
The Eagles took just three games in the three doubles matches. In singles, the Eagles won just 11 games.
Peter Folga,
Ethan Goonewardene, and
Jared Groff each took three games at No. 2, 4, and 5 singles, respectively, but all lost their matches by scores of 6-1, 6-2.
Joshua Pavao won two games at No. 6 singles, but lost the match 6-0, 6-2.
Eastern will return to action next Tuesday back at home against Albright. First serve is set for 3:30 pm.
