GRANTHAM, Pa.— Eastern University Field Hockey 8-8, 1-4) came into today's MAC Commonwealth test at Messiah University after earning a midweek win over Albright to secure the program's first league win since 2023. The host Falcons (9-6, 5-0) were looking to stay atop the league standings.

Messiah scored an early goal and added three more in the second quarter on the way to a 10-1 win. Ryhanna Ridgeway scored Eastern's goal late in the third quarter. Messiah scored five times in the fourth quarter.

The Eagles are at Widener midweek and will wrap up their season with a senior day game against York on Saturday.
