Christian Day Joins Football Staff

ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Head Coach Billy Crocker has announced that Christian Day will join the Eastern University Football staff to work with the Defensive Line.

Day comes to Eastern after working as a Defensive Coordinator at Octorara High School. Originally from Downingtown, Day played as a defensive back at Downingtown East. He started his college football career at West Chester University and Valley Forge Military before finishing at Valparaiso. He also ran sprints for the Valparaiso Track and Field Team.

"I am very excited to add Christian to our staff," Crocker said. "Christian is a young, energetic coach who has coaching in his blood. He played football at a high level and has already achieved very good experience in his young career. Christian is local and has strong ties to the area which will help in recruiting. Our student-athletes will love working with him."

Day has volunteered with the Chester County Special Olympics for over ten years.

Eastern University Football will open its second season of varsity competition on Sept. 7 with a home game against the College of New Jersey.
