SWARTHMORE, Pa.– In a game that was moved back a day because of heavy rains yesterday, Eastern University Women's Lacrosse was unable to solve the Swarthmore defense in a 16-0 loss. 

Goalie Marcianna Tavani made nine of her 14 stops in the first half, but the host Garnet controlled possession with strong play on the draw and on the ride. Emerson Shauger led the Eagles with three shots. 

Eastern will play at Gwynedd Mercy on Monday evening.
