ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - In it second fall match of the season, Eastern Women's Tennis fell to PSU Abington, 5-2, at the EU Tennis Courts.
Sarah Mower and
Kiley McHugh recorded Eastern's two points at No. 2 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
With the new rules established by the ITA, the match was played to seven points. PSU Abington won two matches at doubles, giving them one point.
Kayleigh Achenbach and
Sarah Behm picked up the win at No. 3 doubles, 6-1.
Mower earned her first win the season, defeating Isabella DePorre 6-3, 7-5. McHugh recorded her first win of the season at No. 5 singles, 7-5, 6-0 over Tonya Bogacheva.
Eastern Women's Tennis will continue its fall season on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 3:00 pm.
