KUTZTOWN, Pa. - In its third fall match of the 2024 season, Eastern Women's Tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to NCAA DII foe Kutztown on Wednesday afternoon.
Sarah Behm earned Eastern's lone win at No. 6 singles by default.
The Bears won all but one game at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and recorded clean sweeps over Eastern at No. 2 and No. 4 singles. Sophomore
Mary Brusstar won a pair of games at No. 1 singles, but dropped a 6-0, 6-2 decision.
Kiley McHugh also battled hard in the second set at No. 5 singles, but ultimately lost 6-1, 6-2.
Eastern (0-3) will be back in St. Davids on Saturday for an 11:00 am matchup against Rutgers-Camden.
