ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– With the team in finals week, Eastern University Baseball dropped the final two games of the season to the visiting Stevenson University Mustangs. After dropping the opener 11-2, the Eagles got a strong seven innings out of
John Beck in the nightcap, but the junior right-hander saw his complete game effort matched by Mustang senior Seth Hartman. The Eagles managed only two hits in a 2-0 loss in the nightcap.

Stevenson shortstop Amani Jones beat out an infield hit and the next hitter took an inside pitch off his shoulder. The Mustangs moved the runners over with a sacrifice bunt and then plated the first of the two runs on a perfectly placed bunt single. The second run scored on a sacrifice fly to center field.

Brock Langlotz reached on an infield hit in the seventh.
The only offensive highlight of the day came with the team trailing 4-0 in the third inning of game one.
