ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– With MAC Commonwealth opponent Hood College bringing a short roster to Saturday's contest, Eastern University Men's Tennis had locked up the win before the match started. Nonetheless, the Eagles won three of the four matches played and earned an 8-1 win. William Livezey won a pair of matches to lead the Eagles. 

Livezey and Jeffrey Day, who usually play together in the second doubles spot, moved into the first double spot and earned an 8-6 win. The Eagles claimed the other two doubles point without contest. 

Ryan Kratz won 6-2, 6-2 at second singles, and Livezey ground out a tough 7-5, 6-4 win at the third singles spot. Jacob Devage dropped a point at the first singles spot. It was the first career singles win for Livezey. 

Eastern will host Albright on Tuesday.
