ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - In its second straight home match at the EU Tennis Courts, Eastern Men's Tennis dropped an 8-1 decision to the Albright College Lions.
Jeffery Day continued his strong first-year campaign, improving to 5-1 at No. 3 singles. The Kennett Square, Pa. native defeated Albright's Kobe Serpa 6-1 in set one, before grinding out a 6-4 victory in set two. The Eagles won just one other set, which came at No. 1 singles.
Jacob DeVage won the first set over Fox Bryan 6-1, but dropped the final two sets 6-0 and 6-3.
The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday at Penn State Brandywine. The contest is set to begin at 3:00 pm.
