ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– In hosting a nationally-ranked Messiah Falcon team, Eastern University Women's Lacrosse faced a daunting task. The Falcons dominated possession and earned a 22-1 win.
The Eagles fell behind by ten in the first period before
Ellie Pruitt scored with 40 seconds to play in the frame. Messiah had an 8-to-4 edge in draw controls in the first period and an 18-to-8 edge for the game. The Eagles got four draw controls from
Emerson Shauger.
Rachel Delate led Messiah with four goals and six assists.
Eastern will play again against Lebanon Valley next Wednesday.
