ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse honored the four seniors in the program before taking on the visiting Stevenson University Mustangs. Stevenson scored all seven first-quarter goals and pulled away to a 17-4 win. Caitlyn Quizon scored twice, and Ellie Pruitt and Gracie Horton added single tallies in the loss.

Stevenson won the first four draw controls of the match and built an early edge. Sarah Hunte and Emerson Shauger each won two draws in the remainder of the period, but the Mustang defense forced turnovers and created chances. 

The Eagles finally broke through after Sarah Hunte forced a turnover near the restraining line and ran the ball into the Stevenson zone. She found Horton on the run for a strong finish in the right alley.

Eastern found some momentum in the fourth as Quizon scored a pair of unassisted tallies and Shauger fed Pruitt on the doorstep for a late goal.

Annie Gough made eight saves in goal. 

Eastern honored Pruitt, Quizon, Sara Haas, and Alyse Hand before the game.

The Eagles are at Alvernia on Wednesday and wrap up the season at Hood on Saturday.
