FREDERICK, Md.– A short-handed Eastern University Women's Tennis squad dropped a 7-2 decision at Hood College on Saturday. Gracehope Stevens was a double-winner for the Eagles.

Stevens and doubles partner Kayla Patitucci earned an 8-3 win at the top doubles spot. Stevens then won her singles match by a 6-3, 6-3 decision. Pattitucci battled to a tough 6-3, 6-3 loss at the second singles spot and Trinity Gruber dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision at the third singles spot.

The Eagles are slated to host Alvernia on Tuesday.
