OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Eastern University Women's Lacrosse was unable to parlay a solid day on draw controls into scoring as the Eagles dropped a MAC Commonwealth contest at Stevenson.
Teresa Gailey scored the only Eastern goal in the 20-1 loss.

Hailey Ferry each had four draw controls and the Eagles finished the contest with 12. Pressure defense from the host Mustangs resulted in turnovers and a 9-1 lead after a quarter. Gailey scored on a free position goal with three and a half minutes left in the first.
The Mustangs extended their lead in the second quarter and held possession for the win.
The Eagles (1-10, 0-4) will host Alvernia on Wednesday at 4:00.
