FREDERICK, Md.– All six active players picked up at least one win as Eastern University Men's Tennis picked up a 7-2 MAC Commonwealth win at Hood College.
Nick Wool, Jacob Devage, and
Jacob Craig all won at both singles and doubles.
Though
Bryan Levi and
Darren Lopez dropped a tough 8-6 decision at the top doubles spot, the depth in the Eastern line-up paid dividends and the Eagles led 2-1 after doubles. Wool combined with
Cole Patti for a decisive win at second doubles and Devage and Craig did not drop a game in winning their doubles test.
Levi battled to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the top singles spot. Wool and Devage both won their singles tests, 6-0, 6-0. Craig's 6-3, 6-1 win capped the day for the Eagles.
Eastern (4-2, 2-1) will host Alvernia on Wednesday.
