Gwynedd Valley, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Tennis dropped a tough 6-3 decision at Gwynedd Mercy University on what turned out to be a beautiful spring afternoon. Kayla Patitucci earned the lone singles win for the Eagles.

Patitucci claimed a 6-4, 6-3 win at second singles. Gracehope Stevens won the opening set in her match, 6-4, but her opponennt rallied to force a super-tiebreaker. Stevens dropped that by a 10-6 score. 

With Gwynedd Mercy down a player, the Eagles picked up wins at the sixth singles spot and third doubles.
