ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse dropped a home MAC Commonwealth contest to the unbeaten and nationally-ranked Messiah University Falcons (7-0) by a 22-3 score. Allie Andres,

Ellie Pruitt each had goals int he loss.
The Eagles (1-4, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) won four draws early, which allowed for some time in the offensive zone. As the half wore on, the deeper Falcon side began to grab control of that statistic as well. Messiah won 21 of the 27 draws in the match.
After Messiah built a 4-0 lead, Pruitt scored after Ferry won the draw. Pruitt found the goal on an inside roll on goal-line extended. The Falcons scored the next five goals before Andres took advantage of good clear from
Alyse Hand.
Ferry added a goal early in the second half after winning the draw.
Messiah had a commanding 35-9 edge in shots.
Emily Stiles made nine stops in her first start in goal.
The Eagles are off until April 7, when they travel to Widener.
