BETHLEHEM, Pa– Eastern University Men's Tennis dropped to 6-6 on the year with a 6-1 loss at Moravian College. The host Greyhounds (11-7) won two doubles matches and four singles matches before the match was called for rain.

The Eagles picked up an 8-6 win at the second doubles spot. Nick Wool and Cole Patti won their seventh doubles match as a duo. Karl Finkbeiner and Ryan Hamilton dropped an 8-3 decision that was closer than the score. That match saw several games go to deuce, but the hosts emerged with the win.

As the match progressed,t he weather became more daunting. Hamilton dropped a three-set marathon 6-3, 5-7, 11-9 at second singles. Finkbeiner won his first set 6-1 and was tied int he second set 3-3, but the verdict at no. 4 singles would not impact the final decision of the match as the Eagles dropped quick decisions at first, third, and sixth singles. Wool trailed 4-2 in the opening set when the rain came.
