MADISON, N.J.–
Lauren Good won both her matches, but Eastern University Women's Tennis dropped a 7-2 decision at FDU-Florham in MAC Freedom play.
How It Happened:

Emma Paugh earned an 8-6 win at first doubles, but the Eagles were unable to earn another victory and went to singles play trailing 2-1.
The Devils (12-2, 3-1 MAC Freedom) controlled play in the final four singles spots to win the match. Paugh played a very tight match at the top singles spot but fell 7-5, 6-4.
Good won her opening set in a tiebreaker. She won won seven of the ten points in the breaker to earn a 7-6 win in the set. Her opponent retired and Good picked up the win.

"Lauren was down 5-2 in the set and really battled back. She was solid on her ground strokes all day."

The Eagles are at Moravian in a non-league match on Tuesday before traveling to Wilkes to take on the defending MAC Freedom Champion Colonels on Wednesday.
