ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Tennis dropped an 8-1 decision to the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs (10-6) in a non-league match in advance of this weekend's MAC Freedom match at FDU-Florham.
Lauren Good earned Eastern's only win with a 6-2, 6-2 win at second singles.
How It Happened:
The Mighty Macs earned the first two points of the match with quick wins at second and third doubles. Good and
Emma Paugh fell behind 6-3 in the top doubles spot. The duo battled back to close the gap to 7-6 before their opponents broke back to claim an 8-6 win.
Good was the last Eastern player to take the court in singles. She used strong ground strokes and aggressive passing shots to earn the win in her match.

"They [Immaculata] have a tough line-up. Lauren played really well. Her ground strokes and passing shots ware awesome today."
