CENTER VALLEY, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Tennis claimed a point in the top doubles spot, but the Eagles were unable to win another match in an 8-1 loss at DeSales to open the MAC Freedom season.
How It Happened:
Emma Paugh and
Lauren Good rolled to an 8-3 win in doubles. Paugh played a tight first set with Amber Achenbach at the top singles spot before falling 7-5, 6-1. Good fell 6-3, 6-3 at the second doubles spot.
The deep Bulldogs (8-3, 1-0 MAC Freedom) were able to to win second and third doubles and the four final singles spots only dropping four games.

The Eagles (3-1, 0-1 MAC Freedom) are at Penn State Abington on Wednesday. They will return to MAC Freedom play next Saturday against King's.
