ST. DAVIDS, Pa.– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse controlled the draws in the game, but the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs took advantage of Eastern turnovers to pull away to a 17-7 win. Meghan Kosmides scored four times and Sabrina Campbell added three goals for the Eagles in the loss.

How It Happened:
The Eagles (1-5) won the first 11 draw controls of the match, but 17 first-half turnovers set up the Mighty Macs with possession opportunities. The visitors took advantage and built an 8-3 lead at the break. Kosmides had eight of her game-high 12 draw controls in the first 25 minutes of the game. Marcie Spencer made eight first-half saves to help limit the damage from the turnovers.

The Mighty Macs scored three of the first four goals in the second half. The Eagles then took advantage of a pair of Immaculata turnovers to post a two-goal run and cut the deficit to 11-6. Stephanie Druid caused the first turnover which resulted in a goal from Campbell. Stephanie Arnold forced the next ball free and Kosmides converted. Arnold had a game-high six caused turnovers.
