ROSEMONT, Pa.– Eastern University Men's Tennis controlled the match from start to finish in a 9-0 win at Rosemont College. The Eagles won 96-of-99 games in the match.
How It Happened
Eastern (2-1) won all three doubles matches in short order.
Ryan Hamilton and
Karl Finkbeiner won 8-0 at first doubles and both players won their singles matches without dropping a game.
Cole Pattiand
Nick Wool matched that feat with an 8-0 win at second singles and sweeps at the no. 3 and no. 5 singles spots.
Nick Humes and Jake Craig dropped a single game in an 8-1 doubles win. Wool let a game slip away in the second set at no. 1 singles and Craig dropped a game in the second set at the no. 6 singles spot.
Coach Spangler says:
"The guys did a nice job of controlling points. They showed good focus through each shot and each game."
