LANDISVILLE, Pa.– In a match that was closer than the final score, Eastern University Women's Tennis picked up an 8-1 non-league win at Lancaster Bible College. The Eagles picked up three three-set wins in sweeping the six singles matches.
Eastern (6-5) won the top two doubles flights, but dropped a 9-7 decision at third doubles.

Lauren Good earned an 8-2 win at first doubles and
Olivia Weaver an
Shannon Jugler won, 8-3, at second doubles.
Paugh, Good, and Weaver each needed three sets to win at the top three singles spots. Paugh and Good each dropped her opening set before bouncing back to win. Paugh won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 and Good won 1-6, 6-4, 6-2. Weaver won 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
Jugler,
Emily Thomas, and
Cara Degnan all won in efficient fashion at fourth, fifth, and sixth singles.
