"I am very proud of the way we competed today," Head Coach
Eric Houston said after the game. "We watched them play yesterday and knew we would have to battle on every possession. They are a really good team with a lot of pieces. Our players did a very good job of executing our defensive game plan. We wanted to take away their inside and contest 3-pointers. They were 6-of-31 from three. It just kind of stings that they hit the last one."
Brown and
Naomi Harris each had 11 points and
Jaelyn Harris had ten. Robinson finished the game with 14 points and nine rebounds. Schneider led the Titans with 18 points.
Eastern will be back in action on Thursday at noon against Case Western Reserve University on the final day of the Hoop MIA D3 Holiday Shootout.
