CENTER VALLEY, Pa.– Eight different Eastern players scored in a 21-7 win at DeSales.
Liz Brennan scored six times and added two assists to lead the Eastern attack.
The Eagles scored three times in the first six minutes on a goal from
Julie Haggan and two from
Liz Brennan. The Bulldogs scored two of the next three goals to cut the Eastern lead to 3-2 with 16:40 left to go in the first half.
Sabrina Campbell answered the DeSales goal with her second of two goals on the day off a pass from
Mollie Smith from behind the cage.

Kim Campbell was pleased to see her team find multiple goal scorers in the game and noted that the team's early dominance on draw controls made a huge difference in the game for her side.
Brennan then forced a turnover on a DeSales clear and finished from in close on a pass from Alex Vincent to put the Eagles up 6-2. The Eagles outscored DeSales 6-2 in the final ten minutes of the half to lead 12-4 at the intermission. Haggan completed her hat-trick with 38 seconds remaining in the half on a pass from
Nicole Hege.
Liz Brennan found Hege in front of the goal 21 seconds into the second half to put the Eagles up 13-4. Hege made a nice catch and took three strides into the center of the fan before finishing her first career goal. Moments later,
Liz Brennan found Charlebois cutting down the right side of the fan. Charlebois ripped home her third goal of the day.
Paige Peachey and
Mackenzie Dix scored in the final 20 minutes for the Eagles. Brennan's final goal of the afternoon was her team-best 36th of the year. Charlebois and Haggan both have 31 goals.
Olina Odjemski earned the win in goal.
The Eagles will play a non-league home game against Houghton College on Monday before returning to MAC Freedom play against the defending-champion FDU-Florham Devils on Wednesday.
