MADISON, N.J.– Eastern University Field Hockey gave up a pair of goals in each half and were unable to score in a 4-0 MAC Freedom loss at FDU-Florham.

The Devils scored a pair of goals in the run of play in the first half. The first came in the tenth minute and the second came less than 90 seconds later.

The Eagles pushed forward and had a 9-5 advantage in shots and an 8-4 advantage in penalty corners in the second half, but the comeback was not to be as the Devils added goals in the 54th and 65th minute. 

The Eagles will host Alvernia University at 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
