WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Men's Lacrosse used a ten-goal second half to earn a 16-7 victory over host King's College on Saturday night. The Eagles used a nine-goal run between the third and fourth to claim the win.

Mark Buannic combined to score six goals, three each, to help Eastern claim their fifth straight win.
Eastern (10-5, 5-0 MAC Freedom) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead behind two
Bryan Goetz goals. Goetz tallied his first just over three minutes into the first quarter and then finished off a pass from Lamb just over three minutes later.
After King's (2-10, 1-4 MAC Freedom) had tallied a marker with just under seven minutes left to play in the opening quarter, the Eagles closed out the half scoring four of the next five goals to take a 6-2 lead into the locker rooms.
Lamb tallied back-to-back goals to stretch the Eastern advantage to 4-1. He netted his first of the game with just over a minute to play in the first quarter and then opened the second quarter scoring when he netted his second under three minutes into the second.

Jake Pousson sandwiched a Monarchs goal to stretch the advantage to four at the break.
A strong second half start for King's saw the Eastern lead get cut all the way down to two, 7-5. However, Lamb sparked a nine-goal scoring run spanning two-quarters that lasted just under 15 minutes in game length. The nine straight goals is the Eagles longest scoring streak of the season. Nine different players tallied goals during the scoring run including Buannic, who netted three, two of them within 12 seconds of each other.
King's closed out the game on a two goal run to make the score final at 16-7.
For the game, Eastern took 58 shots placing 27 of them on net and scooped up 17 groundballs to King's 10.
Jameal Hadeed and
Austin Mutter combined to make eight saves while facing 28 shots.
Eastern hosts FDU-Florham on April 27th at 4 pm.
