CARLISLE, Pa.- Eastern Unviersity Women's Soccer gave a up a goal late in the first half and was not able to recover in a rain-soaked 3-0 loss at Dickinson College Saturday.

The host Devils (3-1) scored the first goal of the match on a rebound with 74 seconds to play in the opening half. The goal came after the Eagles had mounted several threats deep in the Dickinson end. A Dickinson midfielder was able to skip a long ball out to the right side of the field for Bridgette Corban on the run. Corban hit a shot from distance off the post and Taylor Brennan cleaned up the rebound for the halftime lead.

"That goal was tough," head coach Dan Mouw stated, "our back row had played well and Adrianna Swinehart made a couple really nice saves and was controlling the box well. We were starting to gather a little momentum."

Dickinson scored on a ball in the box in the 66th minute and on a corner kick four minutes later for the final margin.

Swinehart recorded 14 saves in her first full game in goal.

Eastern (2-2-1) will face Rosemont College at home on Tuesday.
