"I was very pleased with Emily's vision on that goal," head coach
Dan Mouw stated. "She recognized the great chance that Steph was going to have and found her with a perfect pass." Le, who scored her first career goal in the final match of 2014, now has a two-game scoring streak.
Cole got on the board with a shot from the top of the box in the 29th minute.
Courtney Davis set up the play with an entry pass from the right side.
Hanna Kontanis and

Kontanis, a freshman midfielder, volleyed home her first college goal on the first touch of her career for a 3-0 lead. Stirling closed out the scoring on a long pass from
Alex Imperatore in the 43rd minute.
"I was very pleased with Alex today," Mouw stated, "She did a nice job defensively, and she did a good job of recognizing when their back line stepped a little too high. She could have had a couple assists on counter plays today."
Davis scored her first career goal ten minutes into the second half. Cole played a ball into space and Davis converted a good first touch into a 12 yard shot in the middle of the goal. Cole scored in the 64th minute to close out the scoring.
"I was pleased with the day," Mouw concluded. "We will say happy, but not satisfied. It was really good to score some goals and execute and to get everyone's feet wet, but we know that we need to get just a little better every day."
The Eagles (1-0) had a 24-4 edge in shots.
Adrianna Swinehart and
Jules Leco each played a half in goal to share the shutout.
