ANNVILLE, Pa.—Eastern University Men's Golf finished in
seventh place on Monday in its second contest this spring. The Eagles battled
stiff winds and slow greens on the par-72 Pickering Valley Golf Club and shot a
354 (+66).
Rutgers-Camden finished in first with a 312 (+24). Eastern
placed ahead of Centenary College (+82) and PSU-Abington (+87), and finished
just behind Immaculata University (+63) and Wesley College (+64).
Eastern's Ryan Torresin came in fifth overall with a 78
(+6), four strokes behind the overall leader. Andrew Barbin Jr. shot an 81 to
tie for 11th overall in the 47-player field.
PJ Schaefer shot a 93, and Andrew DiFerdinando posted a 102.
Eastern plays at Ledgerock Golf Club tomorrow in the
Alvernia Spring Invitational.
