Men's Golf Takes 7th At Pickering Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa.—Eastern University Men's Golf finished in seventh place on Monday in its second contest this spring. The Eagles battled stiff winds and slow greens on the par-72 Pickering Valley Golf Club and shot a 354 (+66).

Rutgers-Camden finished in first with a 312 (+24). Eastern placed ahead of Centenary College (+82) and PSU-Abington (+87), and finished just behind Immaculata University (+63) and Wesley College (+64).

Eastern's Ryan Torresin came in fifth overall with a 78 (+6), four strokes behind the overall leader. Andrew Barbin Jr. shot an 81 to tie for 11th overall in the 47-player field.

PJ Schaefer shot a 93, and Andrew DiFerdinando posted a 102.

Eastern plays at Ledgerock Golf Club tomorrow in the Alvernia Spring Invitational.
