Women's Soccer Snared By Falcons

GRANTHAM, Pa.--Eastern University Women's found themselves outmatched against No. 2 Messiah College on Wednesday night.

The Messiah Falcons shot down the Eagles 8-0 to improve to 6-0. Nikki Elsaesser recorded a hat trick for the Falcons. Regina Stump and Marisa Weaver each scored twice and Mackenzie Clapper added the other goal.

The Falcons peppered Eastern keeper Jules Leco with shots all game--34 in all. Leco record five saves. The Eagles were unable to muster a shot in the game.

On Saturday, the Eagles (2-5) will look to bounce back against Lebanon Valley College in a 1 p.m. start.
