BETHLEHEM, Pa.--Eastern Volleyball wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 non-conference win at Moravian College Friday night.
The Eagles served nine aces and hit .261 as a team en route to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 win over the Greyhounds.
Katrina Pisch and Erin Hillman led the Eagles' attack with seven kills each. Pisch finished with a .462 percentage and Hillman .385. Stephanie Elechko and Lauren Sproles added six kills each.
The Eagles and Greyhounds were tied at 10-10 in the first set, but the Eagles outpaced them down the stretch 15-4 and then carried that command through the next two sets.
Eastern, No. 18 nationally, finishes the 2013 regular season with a 27-4 record. Moravian, a team that went 29-9 last season, did not have as good a season this year; the Greyhounds' record dipped to 10-21 with Friday night's loss.
On Wednesday, Eastern Volleyball will host the Misericordia Cougars in the Freedom Conference Semifinals at 7 p.m.
