MADISON, N.J.--Sophomore defender Megan Bolton generated most of Eastern's offense in Saturday afternoon's 4-3 overtime win over the FDU-Florham Devils, playing a key part in each of Eastern's four goals.

Bolton scored two goals and set the Eagles up for the game-winner 3:52 into overtime. Her corner strike was tipped in by senior Jess Jaindl. Bolton and Jaindl lead the Eagles in scoring this season. Bolton has a team-best 34 points off 14 goals and six assists. Jaindl has 11 goals and three assists for 25 points.

All of Eastern's goals scored in Saturday's game came off penalty corners. 

The win was certainly a physical one. Eight cards were distributed in the game: two greens and six yellows.

The Eagles took the lead 1-0 in the 22nd minute with Bolton's first goal. She received the pass on a penalty corner, dribbled into the circle and scored.

Kaycie Andrew put the Eagles up 2-0 in the 25th minute. Andrew received an assist from Jaindl.

FDU-Florham responded with a goal in the 29th minute, but Eastern extended its lead back to two with another penalty corner goal by Bolton in the 30th minute. Bolton scored her second goal with a backhand shot.

The Devils scored in the 51st minute and then again in the 60th miunte to tie the game at 3-3.

The remaining 10 minutes of the match went scoreless, forcing the Eagles to play their second straight overtime game.

The Eagles earned three penalty corners in overtime, and in the 74th minute Jaindl hit the game-winner, assisted by Bolton.

Eastern plays its last conference game at home on Tuesday against Delaware Valley at 4 p.m.
