ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern Volleyball swept Gallaudet University 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 in Saturday's Homecoming match.
The No. 12 Eagles improved to 21-2 while Gallaudet dropped to 15-10.
Three Eastern players hit above .400 in the win. Katrina Pisch hit .471 with nine kills. Stephanie Elechko finished with eight kills and a .467 percentage. Kearby Benak added seven kills while hitting .462.
Setter Rikki Schlager dished out 39 assists. Schlager has 853 assists this season.
In the third set, Eastern and Gallaudet were tied 11-11. Schlager served two aces in a row to put the Eagles up for good. Kaitlyn Gochenauer finished the game at 25-19 with a kill.
The Eagles drive up to Manhattanville College for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and then fly to San Antonio, Texas, the following day for a weekend tournament at Trinity University.
