ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern senior Brittany Moyer scored twice and recorded two assists in the Eagles' 4-1 victory over the Stockton College Ospreys Saturday afternoon.
Eastern Field Hockey has won its past three games and holds a 3-2 record this season.
The Eagles fell behind 1-0 when Stockton's Alicia Leadbeater scored in the 23rd minute. However, the Ospreys were only able to put two more shots on goal the rest of the game. Eastern responded immediately as Kaycie Andrew scored her second goal of the year, receiving a leading pass from Brittany Moyer. Moyer put the Eagles up 2-1 after finishing a well-hit ball by Kelby Bolton.
The Eagles pressured the Ospreys relentlessly the rest of the game, putting 23 shots on goal.
Eastern took the 3-1 lead in the second half when Moyer slotted a pass past Stockton's goalie, finding Abby Wagner open at the right post for the score.
Just four minutes later, Moyer found the goal for the second time when she swept a bouncing ball in front of the net into the back left corner of the cage.
The Eagles look to continue their three-game winning streak on Wednesday at Alvernia University at 4 p.m.
