EWING, N.J.--Eastern University Women's Lacrosse fell 19-5
against The College of New Jersey Lions, ranked No. 4 in the nation, on
Tuesday night.
Shannon Wilcox scored two goals for the Eagles in
the second straight game. Courtney Reinhold, Sara Blaylock and Kendall
Rood each scored a goal in Tuesday's loss.
The Lions led 8-1 by
the time the Eagles netted their second goal of the game with 16:58 to
play in the first half. The Lions scored six unanswered goals to finish
out the first half up 14-2. The Eagles tallied three goals in the second
half, but ultimately fell 19-5.
The Eagles return home for a noon game against Elizabethtown College on Saturday.
