The host Haverford College Fords, however, scored the final four goals of the contest to earn an 18-10 non-league win. Courtney Reinhold led the Eagles with three goals.

The host Fords jumped to a 6-1 lead out of the gate. Sara Blaylock scored the only goal for the Eagles. Blaylock then set uo Allie Gauthier to cut the deficit to 6-2 midway through the opening frame. Gauthier and Jocelyn Paul each had a pair of goals in the opening half, but the Fords pressured the Eastern net until the final whistle on the way to an 11-5 halftime lead. Haverford scored its final goal of the half with only 12 seconds remaining.

The Fords scored the first two goals of the second half before the Eagles put together a 5-1 run over a ten minute stretch. Kendall Rood opened the stretch of goals with an unassisted tally, and after a Haverford goal, Reinhold scored two straight. Allie Fultz made it 14-9 with 16:07 on the clock, and thirty seconds later, she set up Reinhold to close the gap to 14-10.

The Fords were able to maintain possession and pull away late.

The Eagles (0-4) open the home portion of their schedule this Saturday against Alvernia.
