The Eagles fell in game two, but still improved to ten wins in the PAC and sit on the verge of a spot in the PAC Tournament. With four conference games to play, the Eagles need to a single win to assure a post-season appearance for the second year in a row.

Weis gave up just two hits while striking out seven in the first game, but the game remained in doubt throughout as the Eagles scored single tallies in the sixth and seventh innings to earn their 17th win of the year. Alissa Brubaker got the action going in the sixth with a single to center field. Megan Favazza executed a bunt down the third base line to advance the speedy shortstop to second. Tanya Guthrie singled to right to move Brubaker to third. Karen Hertzog delivered a long fly ball to left to drive in the eventual game-winner. 

Stephanie Weaver knocked in a big insurance run in the top of the seventh with a two-out single to score Val Heffline. Weis allowed a two-out single in the seventh, but escaped with a ground ball to third to end the game.

The Griffins came back with a 6-0 win in game two. Gwynedd-Mercy's Heather Morgan kept the Eastern bats quiet with a four-hit shutout. The loss puts the Eagles a game behind Gwynedd-Mercy for the fourth seed. With a single win in tomorrow's doubleheader at Cedar Crest, the Eagles would ensure a spot in the playoffs.
