New Jersey. The host Lions proved to be as good as advertised as the jumped to a quick 5-0 lead before Jessie Basch scored the lone goal for the Eagles midway through the opening period.

TCNJ held a 10-1 lead at the break. Karen Doane led the way for the hosts with a six goal performance. Kim Campbell made 12 saves in goal for the Eagles.

Eastern returns to action in the PAC on Saturday when they host Gwynedd-Mercy College in a 1:00 pm game.
